--- title: "Post analytics dashboard walkthrough" updated: 2026-05-04 --- # Post analytics dashboard walkthrough Every post you publish on beehiiv comes with its own analytics dashboard, giving you the ability to review detailed performance metrics directly within your account. Unlike the [**Posts Report**](https://beehiivhelp.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12404046405015), which provides an overview of your posts' collective performance, the post analytics dashboard focuses on individual posts. This allows you to dive deeper into specific content and gather insights to refine your content strategy. In this guide, we’ll walk you through each tab of the post analytics dashboard, explaining the available data and how to interpret it. Simply click on a tab to view its details. **Post Analytics Dashboard** ## How to access a post's dashboard To access the analytics dashboard for any post, go to **Newsletters >** [**Posts**](https://app.beehiiv.com/posts) from the left panel of your account, then click the name of any published post. The dashboard will open on the **Overview** **tab**, which displays the published post. You can switch between additional tabs for **Performance**, **Interactions**, **A/B Test**, and **Paid Subscription Data** to explore more insights. At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see the post's name, publish date, and distribution method **Email, Web,** or both **Email and Web**. ![](https://beehiivhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/29543514011287) You can make changes to a post by clicking the **View published** dropdown in the upper-right corner of the dashboard. ![](https://beehiivhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/40102732368791) Click the dropdown arrow next to **Edit Post** to access the following: - **Edit post**: Modify the editable elements of your post on the web version. - **View published**: Open the published web version of your post. - **Copy link**: Copy the URL for the published web version to share. - **Gift link to paid content**: If your post is restricted to paid subscribers, this option allows you to share a free version with others. - **Share Post**: Open the social sharing modal with options to share to social media platforms or generate social posts using the AI Social Helper. - **Download HTML**: Download an HTML copy of your post for an easy back up. - **Archive**: Remove the post from the web and your publication site. > **Note** > > Archiving a post will make it unavailable on the web and your publication site, but it will remain accessible within your account.
