How to cancel or delete your beehiiv account
If you no longer wish to use the platform, it’s easy to cancel or delete your beehiiv account.
Since every account includes at least one workspace — where you manage your publications, team members, billing details, and more — you’ll need to delete or transfer ownership of all workspaces you own before you can delete your account.
How to delete your beehiiv account
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of your account, then select Account Security from the dropdown.
- If you still own a workspace, you’ll see an Account Profile Deletion prompt explaining that you must first delete or transfer ownership of all workspaces before proceeding.
- Click How do I transfer ownership to open the help article.
- Or click Take me to my workspace settings to manage your workspace directly and follow the steps outlined in this article.
- Once all workspaces have been deleted or transferred, the Account Profile Deletion prompt will give you the option to click Delete Account.
- A confirmation prompt will appear explaining that deleting your account is permanent and you’ll no longer be able to log in with your current email. To continue, type DELETE into the field and click Continue.
- A final confirmation will appear for you to review. Click Confirm to permanently delete your beehiiv account.
