What's included in a beehiiv free trial
Your free trial is a chance to try beehiiv's Pro plan features and find what works best for your newsletter, website, podcast, and community. This article walks you through what you can use during your trial, which features have limits, and what happens when your trial ends.
Access to select paid features
When you create a beehiiv account, you can start a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan. No credit card is required. During your trial, you can submit support tickets from the Help page in your account, and you can use many Pro plan features as outlined below.
While in trial, your account is on the Free plan with temporary access to Pro features (with some exceptions). Some features also follow Free or Lite plan limits during your trial. For a detailed breakdown of features and limits on each plan, see the feature comparison on the Pricing page.
If you choose not to upgrade to a paid plan when your trial ends, your account stays on the Free plan.
What you can use during your trial
Your trial unlocks these Pro features. Try the ones that matter most for your publication, like sending targeted posts to segments, building multi-step automations, or hosting a webinar.

A few features have set limits during your trial. You can still try each one, and upgrading to a paid plan raises or removes these limits.

What isn't available until you upgrade
A few features are held back during your trial so you can focus on building your publication first. When you're ready for them, they unlock as soon as you upgrade to a paid plan.

What happens when your trial ends
If you don't upgrade, your account stays on the Free plan and the Pro features you had access to turn off. You keep your content, subscribers, and the core newsletter, website, podcast, community, and digital product features included on every plan.
