How to update your website favicon
Your favicon is the tiny image that appears in the tab of your browser to help your website visitors identify your site. This small, yet significant image helps to solidify your branding and help your audience recognize your site easily.
In beehiiv, once you set a logo for your publication, this logo will automatically appear as your favicon for your website. If you prefer to have a different favicon, follow the instructions below.
How to update your favicon
- From the Website Builder, click on the Settings icon in the left toolbar, then select All settings.
- Your website settings will open on the General tab. In your general settings, scroll down to Favicon.
-
If you’ve already uploaded a logo for your publication, the logo will appear here. If you have not set a logo, you’ll see the beehiiv logo instead. Hover over the logo to select between the Edit icon to upload a new favicon, or the Trash icon to delete your existing favicon.
Tech Note: If you do not have a favicon or publication logo set, your favicon will default to a grey circle, as shown in this example.
