Managing digital product orders in beehiiv
After you have set up and begun selling digital products, beehiiv makes it easy to view, manage, and take action on every order from one central place. From checking order statuses to resending purchase emails, you can handle most order-related tasks without leaving your account.
This article covers where to find your orders, what each order status means, how to manage orders as a seller, and how customers access their purchases.

Where to find your orders
When someone purchases a digital product from your site, the workspace owner automatically receives an order confirmation email with a link to view the order details.
From the email, click the View Order Details button to open the order details in your account.
Products order details
Clicking the button in an order confirmation email opens the Orders page in your beehiiv account (when logged in).
You can also view the status of your orders at any time by going to Monetize > Products > Orders. The Orders page lists all of your orders in one place.
The Orders page lists all digital product purchases in one place.
Each order includes:
- Order: The unique order number for the purchase.
- Date: The date the purchase was made.
- Customer: The buyer’s email address.
- Items: The quantity of items ordered (currently limited to 1 per order).
- Amount: Total purchase price.
- Payment Status: Can be Paid, Refunded, or Partially refunded.
- Status: Can be Active or Canceled.
- Redemption Status: Can be Pending (not redeemed) or Redeemed.
- Name: The name of the purchased product
You can also further drill into the order details by:
- Filtering orders by Pending or Redeemed.
- Sorting by Newest, Oldest, or Product type.
Managing your orders
You can manage orders directly from the Orders page or from the subscriber’s profile.
Each order includes additional actions accessible through the 3 dots menu on the right:

Product order actions include:
- View invoice: Opens the invoice of the purchase.
- Stripe dashboard: Opens the transaction directly in your Stripe account.
- Refund: Starts the refund process (see details below).
- Cancel: Removes the buyer’s ability to redeem the product (for unredeemed items).
Available actions will update automatically based on the order’s current status.
Viewing orders from a subscriber profile
To see order details from a subscriber’s profile:
- From the left panel, go to Audience > Subscribers.
- Click on the subscriber’s name to open up their profile.
- Navigate to the Subscriber overview and click the Orders tab.
- From here, you’ll see the same order details and action options available on the Orders page.
You may need to scroll to the right to access the 3 dots menu where you can view the invoice or go to your Stripe dashboard.
How to resend the purchase email
If a buyer reaches out because they can’t find their purchase email, click Resend next to the order to send it to them again.
How customers redeem digital products
The buyer experience will be slightly different based on the type of product purchased.
Downloadable products or links
Customers receive access in multiple ways:
Instant access modal: Upon purchase, buyers will be provided with a modal where they can access their digital product immediately.
Email with link: Buyers are also sent an email with a link to their subscriber center, where they can access their purchases at any time by clicking on Redeem your purchase.
Coaching/1:1 sessions
Access to coaching/1:1 sessions depends on your scheduling setup:
Cal.com integration: If you are using the cal.com native integration, buyers schedule during checkout and receive a confirmation email with a link to manage their booking.
Email confirmation: Buyers will be sent an email confirming their booking, with a link to view and modify their booking in their subscriber center.
Third-party calendar links (e.g., Calendly): Immediately upon purchase, buyers receive a modal with a link to schedule/redeem their session.
Email with link: Buyers are also sent an email with a link to redeem and schedule their session; where they click on Book Now to schedule their booking.
How customers access their orders
Buyers can access all orders through their subscriber center.
After clicking the link in their purchase email, they can scroll to Order history to view details.
Buyers who purchased a file/download will have a Download file button to instantly download their purchase.
Buyers who purchased a coaching session will see their appointment details, including their video call link (when applicable), and have the option to modify their booking, if needed.
All purchases include options to leave a review for their product or session.
Buyers can also use the View receipt button to view and save a receipt of their purchase for their records.
