What is beehiiv Community?
Community gives your publication a members-only space where you can engage directly with your audience. It syncs automatically with all your beehiiv content (eg newsletters) and is designed for engagement.
Can I create paid communities?
Yes. You can gate a community behind one or more paid tiers, so only subscribers on a qualifying tier can join.
Do members need separate accounts?
No. Members join with their existing beehiiv subscriber account — there's no separate community login to create.
Can I create multiple spaces?
Yes. Every community starts with a default "General" space, and you can add, reorder, and organize additional spaces (channels) as needed.
Can teams manage Community together?
Yes. Team members can be assigned Admin, Moderator, or Contributor roles, so moderation and content responsibilities can be shared across your team.
What moderation tools are included?
Admins and moderators can ban or unban members and remove individual posts or comments, with full reporting functionality also available to members.
